MADURAI: A solemn gathering event was organised in Madurai city on September 25th 2017 by two organisations to pay respects to the great nationalist ideologue Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyaya to mark his centenary year celebrations.
Women and children were explained about his sacrifices and contributions to the “Bharath Matha” for the cause of India and its national identity.
Madurai-based Voice Trust and Nehru Yuva Kendra had had jointly organised the people gathering to create public awareness about the life and contributions of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay to this nation.

“We told them about the selfless soul Pandit Deendayal…..his life details were explained to students…..we conducted elocution / oratory competition for this special day and sweets were distributed to the local people by remembering the great Pandit Deendayal JI….our respects and tributes to him, ” said Mr.T.Murugesan, Managing Trustee of Voice Trust, Madurai.
Mr.Subramanian, Madurai District Coordinator of Nehru Yuva Kendra – Madurai, and others took part in this important meeting.
