MADURAI: A CD in Tamil with a specially composed public awareness song on Prime Minister Mr.Narendra Modi’s welfare schemes for the people was released at a function organised by the BJP Madurai Rural District in Madurai on September 25th 2017 (Monday).
The highlight of this CD is a 16-minute song done in Madurai slang (with male and female voices) explaining about the Modi government schemes for poor people.
This song also has conversation that describes the benefits of each scheme being implemented by the Central government.
Mr.Maha Suseendhran, BJP Madurai Rural District president, and his team of office-bearers initiated the idea of launching a CD on Modi schemes to reach people of Madurai district in rural areas effectively.
MODI SCHEMES EXPLAINED:
Shastry V.Mallady and Prof.Dr.R.Srinivasan worked on the lyrics for this special song while the voice was rendered by popular singer in Madurai Mr. Madurai Maran. The music was by Mr.Aneesh.
Some of the schemes covered in this song were Rs.12 accident insurance scheme, LPG gas cylinder scheme, Mudra Bank loan scheme, crop insurance, Selvamagal savings scheme for girl child future etc.
FOR ELECTION CAMPAIGN:
The CD, which totally contains six songs to be used for election campaign, was released by BJP State Secretary Prof.Dr.R.Srinivasan while the first cassette copy was received by Mr.K.C.Thirumaran, founder of South India Forward Bloc.
Mr.B.T.Arasakumar, BJP State Vice-President and party’s Madurai Rural district office-bearers/ mandal presidents etc were present.
This audio songs CD was given to all panchayats in Madurai rural.
