MADURAI: Prime Minister Mr.Narendra Modi’s birthday ‘Swachch Bharat’ cleanliness drive in Madurai Corporation Ward 65 area – Therkutheru area- by the local BJP team had given answer to the residents who are living in very bad civic conditions for many years.
On September 17th 2017 (Sunday), the Madurai BJP took up extensive clenalinesss drive in Madurai city in all the wards for Modi’s birthday.
The BJP’s English news website www.lotustimes.org team went to the spots in Ward 65 – spoke to the women in that locality in many streets where garbage was dumped and water channels got blocked where there was no drinking water supply.
WARD 65 RESIDENTS HAPPY WITH BJP:
Locals have said on September 19th 2017 that the Madurai Corporation responded to the BJP’s website news report and corporation staff began clearing the blocked drains, started clearing the garbage and removed shrubs…..The work will go on.
Keerathurai BJP mandal office-bearers team and B.Selvam, Ward 65 president of the party, have expressed happiness for the quick response,
“Local people have now realised that BJP will keep up its word, it is a party for the people and it will act fast….Our ward people are saying that BJP got it done in just two days after Modi’s Swachch Bharat mission on September 17th 2017,” Mr.Selvam has said.
The work being done by the Madurai Corporation will be monitored by BJP Keerathurai Mandal team in Madurai and Ward 65 office-bearers in Madurai Corporation area.
