MADURAI: The Minorities Wing of the Madurai district Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has emerged as one among the best TOP Three performing teams in Tamil Nadu due to their active role and for taking ahead the party’s programmes, policies and welfare schemes of Prime Minister Mr.Narendra Modi’s government at the Centre to the people.
Among the Top Three in BJP Minorities Wing in the State were the district units of Chennai, Madurai and Kancheepuram. The Tamil Nadu State Minorities Morcha Executive Committee meeting was held on August 30th 2017 at Coimbatore.
Tamil Nadu State BJP president Dr.Tamilisai Soundararajan, State Minorities Wing president Mr.Asim Basha, senior leaders Ms.Munawari Begam, Mr.Johnson and Mr.Kennedy appreciated the good role of minorities leaders / district teams of BJP in the State.

The team from BJP Minorities Wing Madurai district who went to Coimbatore to receive performance appreciation from State BJP leaders include Mr.Calvary Thiyagarajan and Mr.A.Basheer Ahamed.
Various crucial issues such as Triple Talaq have been discussed at the meeting and the relief for Muslim women due to scrapping of Talaq practice by the country’s apex court Supreme Court was focused.
This landmark judgement positive impact for Muslim women will be taken to the people in coming days in Tamil Nadu.
