MADURAI: The BJP on Sunday (August 27th 2017) organised a special meeting in Madurai to explain and create public awareness about the various welfare schemes, empowerment initiatives and good governance of Prime Minister Mr.Narendra Modi.
A large number of people attended the sessions where party leaders from Madurai district gave indepth information about how the general public, women, youth and poor people could avail the Modi schemes.
Developmental programmes such as Skill India, Standup India, Mudra bank loans, housing for all etc were explained. Women listened to the details of Modi government’s schemes in rapt attention and their doubts were clarified.
Prof.Dr.R.Srinivasan, BJP Tamil Nadu State Secretary, Mr.Saseeraman, Madurai Urban district president, Mr.M.G.Bharathi Raj, district general secretary, Mrs.K.Meenambigai, Women’s Wing Madurai district president and Mr.Y.Sasi Kumar, district SC/ST Cell president, were among those who spoke.
