MADURAI: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has always been a leader in tapping and taking social media route to directly reach the people with its news, views and useful info.
This social media strength is now being tapped in a big way by the party office-bearers and cadres in Madurai South Assembly constituency.
A special team already began to work in this direction in this constituency through Facebook, Twitter and WhatsApp. All the three important social media tools are active since last three days.

“There is a public page created by the Madurai South BJP team with focus on 2019 Parliament election and in this constituency we want to reach out to voters by telling what our Narendra Modi Ji government has been doing for people,” Mr.C.M.Mari Chakkaravarthy, Constituency in-charge and BJP Youth Wing State general secretary, said on August 25th 2017.
According to Prabhari Mr.Durai Balamurugan, the party will put all useful data required by the electorate and general public will be posted by the social media team.
BJP district leaders in Madurai including urban district (Madurai city) president Mr.Saseeraman, district organisation general secretary Mr.K.K.Sreenivasan and Women’s Wing State president Mrs.A.R.Mahalakshmi had convened meetings on how effectively social media must be used in the Madurai South Assembly constituency.
