MADURAI: The implementation of GST has put an end to the practice of doing business without bill and so ultimately indirect tax collection / tax revenues will go up significantly, BJP senior leader and national secretary Mr.H.Raja has said.

Addressing traders on GST clarifications at a meeting organised in Shree Gujarat Samaj Hall in Madurai on August 13th 2017 (Sunday), he said the objective is to increase tax compliance in the country, prevent tax avoidance and to bring down prices of commodities / products in the open market for benefit of people.

“People are trusting our Prime Minister Mr.Narendra Modi…..and the Modi government’s policy is “I Trust My Citizens”…..that is why he introduced the system of self-attestation….when Modi says we trust you, then naturally people will also trust him,” Mr.Raja has said.
