SIVAKASI: The birth centenary celebrations of nationalist ideologue and India’s great soul that worked for the progress and development of people with an integrated humanist approach Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay was organised in Sivakasi in Virudhunagar district on August 12th 2017 (Saturday) evening.
Tamil Nadu BJP State Secretary and Madurai BJP Zone in-charge Prof.Dr.R.Srinivasan along with the party’s senior leader cum spokesperson based in Chennai Mr.Narayanan Thirupathi participated in the meeting and spoke on the ideas with which Pandit Deendayal made a selfless sacrifice for the ‘Bharat Matha’.
Among those who participated in the meeting were fireworks and crackers association president Mr.Asaithambi, RSS State president Shri.Ramakrishnan, Virudhunagar BJP district president Mr.G.P.Solaiappan nd RSS Virudhunagar district president Shri.Sivalingam.
The meeting to recall the contributions of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay began at around 6 p.m. in Sivakasi.
