RAMESWARAM: Prime Minister Mr.Narendra Modi led the nation in paying respects and tributes to the former President of India Dr.A.P.J.Abdul Kalam on his second death anniversary here on July 27th 2017.
He inaugurated the national memorial at Peikarumbu and paid respects to the great visionary who motivated the children and youth to dream big, think big and achieve big.
MEETS FAMILY:
Mr.Modi met the family members of Dr.Kalam and spent time chatting with them. He paid homage at the memorial and saw the exhibits which explain the life and success of the former President who is popularly called as People’s President.
NDA’ vice-president nominee Mr.M.Venkaiah Naidu, Union Ministers Mr.Pon.Radhakrishnan and Mrs.Nirmala Sitharaman, Tamil Nadu Governor in-charge Mr.Ch.Vidyasagar Rao, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Mr.Edappadi Palaniswami, Tamil Nadu BJP State president Dr.Tamilisai Soundararajan and BJP national general secretary Mr.P.Muralidhar Rao were among those present.
