MADURAI: The objective of English news website for BJP – www.lotustimes.org – was explained to the Union Minister of Commerce and Industry Mrs.Nirmala Sitharaman during her visit to Madurai on July 9th 2017.
It is functioning from Madurai with tagline “FROM MADURAI…FOR INDIA.”.
This website which is dedicated to the BJP to highlight the party’s ideology, policies, news, views, leaders and its cadres at all levels in Tamil Nadu and draw attention of the people, was launched in Madurai on March 4th 2017 by the BJP’s national joint general secretary Shri.Santhoshji, State BJP president Dr.Tamilisai Soundararajan, Rajya Sabha MP Shri.L.Ganesan, Tamil Nadu general secretary (Org) Shri.Keshav Vinayagam ji and other State leaders including Mrs.Vanathi Srinivasan, M.Chakravarthy and others.
