MADURAI: The party flag of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) carries green colour of Islam and Muslims along with saffron and white colours and that itself shows that the BJP wants only brotherhood and respect for all religions, Ms.M.R.Jemelaa, Tamil Nadu BJP Minorities Wing State Secretary, has said in Madurai.
Speaking at the Iftar party hosted by the Madurai district minorities wing of the BJP, she said that the very fact that the party flag carries three colours – saffron, green and white- is enough to say that it is a party for all and BJP stands for all religions and minorities in India.

“There is a wrong impression that BJP is only for one religion. But, see the party flag and it has green colour of Muslims. So, we must understand that and support the Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s government and his schemes,” she added.
