THENI: The nation’s prestigious telecom player in the public sector, BSNL, has shown that it is a national organisation to showcase Bharat Success at National Level in letter and spirit.
Yes. The theme of progress and development being followed by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s government in the last three years at the Centre in various sectors was lauded with a thunderous applause at Theni in Tamil Nadu on 17th June 2017 (Saturday).
Public sector telecom major BSNL had organised a massive event in Theni town with Modi’s thematic words -“Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas Sammelan” – to highlight the achievements of the BJP-led NDA government at the Centre.
That things are turning in Tamil Nadu in favour of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) was evident from the large turnout at the meeting with cheers and colourful dances and BSNL displaying the people-centric and national priority schemes of the Modi government so that a common man could understand their positive impact in daily living.
Mrs. S.E.Rajam, Principal General Manager – BSNL, started off with her welcome address by highlighting the flagship schemes such as Make in India, Digital India, Mudra Bank and Startup India. She also pointed out the impact of Modi’s popular ‘Mann ki Bath’ broadcast on All India Radio and the much-awaited Goods and Services Tax (GST).
The public awareness ‘sammelan’ meeting of the BSNL which was held in Theni with the support of Madurai region BSNL team, was successful as the message reached to the right ears.
R.Parthipan, Theni MP, Mr.N.Venkatachalam, Theni district Collector, Prof.Dr.R.Srinivasan, BJP State Secretary, M.Sridevi, Divisional Engineer (Theni) and Mr.V.Chandrasekaran, DGM (HR&Admin), BSNL, were among those who participated in the public awareness meet held to mark the three years’ success of Modi government.
The BSNL’s Theni meeting sent out positive vibes and confident signals with eminent guests highlighting the Central government’s success ever since Mr.Modi took over as Prime Minister in May 2014.
V.Venkateswaran, BJP Theni district president, B.Vijayakumar, AGM (BSNL Mobile), R.Swaminathan, Superintendent of Post Offices-Theni division-, Thirumalai Balaji, programme coordinator, Mr.Maharajan, president of Ex-Servicemen Association and M.Haja Mohideen, former PRO of BSNL and advocate Kumar were among those who spoke on the achievements of BJP-led government at the Centre.
