MADURAI: The Apollo Speciality Hospitals in Madurai has started COVID vaccination to administer Corona vaccine for perons above the age of 18 years, according to a press release received in Madurai on May 8th 2019- Saturday. This is a vaccination drive for people above years of age, to inoculate the younger age population in this region and a massibe drive began by a private hospital in southern Tamil Nadu.
Arrangements have been made to procure the required vaccine doses, a press release here said today- on 8th May 2021. Beneficiaries are required to register on the CoWIN app or Aarogya Setu app for registering/ appointment slot for COVID vaccination. Dr.ROHINI SRIDHAR, CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER, APOLLO HOSPITALS- MADURAI DIVISION- TAMIL NADU- is monitoring the arrangements for vaccine online registration and the vaccination drive to be done in the coming weeks. Till now, the Apollo Speciality Hospitals in Madurai has done COVID Corona virus vaccination for about 3,000 persons who are above 45 years of age.
