CHENNAI: A BJP team led by Tamil Nadu BJP State president Mr.L.Murugan went to the residence of film actor Ponnambalam in Chennai today- on 12th July 2020- and enquired about his health since he is not keeping well and undergoing treatment.
Accompanied by BJP State organization general secretary Mr.Kesava Vinayagam, party’s Culture Wing State president Ms.Gayathri Raghuram and State secretary Sumathi Venkatesh, the BJP Tamil Nadu State president Mr.Murugan went to the actor’s house in Chennai.
He spoke to the actor and his family members and assured them that he and the party functionaries will be there to help him whenever needed. According to a press release here today, BJP State president Mr.Murugan had given Rs.2 lakhs towards the medical expenses of actor Ponnambalam. He is a member of BJP.
“Mr.Murugan told the actor’s family to contact him for any assistance and also said that BJP office-bearers and cadres will pray for speedy recovery and good health of actor Ponnambalam,” a press release today said.
