MADURAI: The water level in Vaigai Dam stood at 34.58 Feet today morning- 30th June 2020. Maximum level of the dam is 71 feet.
Vaigai dam storage was 583 mcft, inflow 63 cusecs and discharge 125 cusecs. Water level in the Periyar Dam stood at 112.20 Feet (Maximum level is 142 feet). Storage was 1,263 mcft and inflow 125 cusecs.
PWD information bulletin here today that the rainfall recorded in Periyar dam area was 27.2 mm during the last 24 hours ending at 8.30 am today.- 30th June 2020. Rainfall in Thekkadi was 25 mm while Madurai had a rainfall of 6.4 mm.
