MADURAI: The Aravind Eye Hospitals in Madurai has today contributed Rs.27 lakhs to the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister’s Public Relief Fund towards COVID-19 prevention and relief measures. This amount is a contribution of one day salary of hospital management and staff to the CM Relief Fund.
On 9th May 2020, hospital’s GOVEL Trust Chairman Mr.G.Srinivasan and Aravind Eye Hospital Chairman Dr.R.D.Ravindran handed over the contribution amount cheque to Madurai District Collector Dr.T.G.Vinay here on behalf of the hospital management and its employees. Mr.S.G.Ramanathan, Public Relations Officer, Aravind Eye Hospital, was present.
