MADURAI: In view of the current lockdown due to Corona crisis, the Meenakshi Temple in Madurai has made arrangements for the devotees to watch the famous ‘Thirukalyanam’ (Celestial Wedding / Wedding Divine) through live telecast from the temple tomorrow – 4th May 2020. Muhurtham timing is between 9.05 am and 9.29 am.
The ‘Thirukalyanam’ can be seen live on HR&CE Department website www.tnhrce.gov.in. It can also be watched on Meenakshi Temple website – www.maduraimeenakshi.org. The wedding will take place in swami sannidhi first prakaram.
A press release from the temple here today informed that the celestial wedding can be seen live on Facebook page and Youtube channel of the temple.
“Devotees can watch the ‘Thirukalyanam’ live from their homes and get the divine blessings. The wedding ceremony begins at 8.30 am in Meenakshi Temple and go up to 10.15 am,” the press release said.
