MADURAI: The third Corona Disinfection Tunnel in Madurai city to prevent spread of virus infection though disinfectants came up at Wakf Board College in K.K.Nagar in Madurai.
On 9th April 2020, Madurai Corporation Commissioner Mr.S.Visakan had visited the college ground where this disinfection tunnel was set up since temporary vegetable market with limited number of shops was started in the college ground here to prevent crowds.
Coronal Disinfection Tunnel was started already at Madurai College and Corporation headquarters ‘Arignar Anna Malaigai building here. The tunnel at Wakf Board College in Madurai was done with the support of Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and YI India.
Assistant Commissioner Mr.Premkumar and several others including Mr.Sudheesh from CII, Mr.Kalyanasundar from YI, Poornima, Sathish, Saravanan and Shyam were among those present during the Madurai Corporation Commissioner’s visit to Wakf Board College.
